Description

Achieve restaurant-quality crispy baked potatoes in your air fryer with a perfectly tender interior and golden, crunchy exterior. This simple, quick method brings classic flavor to your dinner table with minimal effort.


Ingredients

Scale

4 medium russet potatoes
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

Wash and thoroughly dry the potatoes
Using a fork, poke several holes in each potato to allow steam to escape
Place the potatoes in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil
Sprinkle sea salt, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, and black pepper over the potatoes
Toss lightly to coat evenly
Carefully place the potatoes into the air fryer basket and arrange them in a single layer
If your air fryer basket is small, you may need to cook in batches
Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 35-40 minutes, flipping the potatoes halfway through
Check that the potatoes are cooked through and the skin is crispy and golden
Remove from the air fryer and serve warm

Notes

Make sure the potatoes are completely dry after washing to help form a crispy skin
