Ingredients
1 lb chicken wings (split into drumettes and flats)
1 tbsp hot sauce
1 tbsp melted unsalted butter
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika (optional for color)
1/4 cup melted unsalted butter for sauce
1 tbsp hot sauce for sauce (adjust to taste)
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly oil the basket
Mix hot sauce, melted butter, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika
Toss chicken wings in the seasoning until fully coated
Place wings in air fryer basket in a single layer
Cook for 20 minutes, flipping halfway for even crispiness
While cooking, prepare buffalo sauce by mixing 1/4 cup melted butter with additional hot sauce
After 20 minutes, remove wings and toss with buffalo sauce
Return to air fryer and cook 5-7 minutes to set the sauce
Notes
Avoid overcrowding the basket for optimal crispness
For extra heat, add 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper to the dry rub
Serve with ranch dressing or celery sticks for dipping
