Description
A quick and healthy main course featuring crispy salmon fillets glazed with a homemade sweet and savory teriyaki sauce. Ready in minutes with no oil or mess, this dish balances crisp skin with tender, flaky fish, making it perfect for weeknights.
Ingredients
4 (4-ounce) salmon fillets, skin-on
3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water
Instructions
Mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger in a bowl. Dissolve cornstarch in water and stir into the sauce.
Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then brush half the teriyaki sauce over the tops.
Place fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway for even crisping.
Brush remaining teriyaki sauce over the cooked fillets and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra crispiness, pat salmon dry before cooking. If the fish sticks, spray the basket lightly with air fryer-safe oil.
Use a wire rack in the basket to allow even air circulation. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
