Description

Crispy, sweet banana slices with a touch of cinnamon and sugar, made guilt-free in the air fryer. A wholesome snack that delivers on flavor while staying light and healthy.


Ingredients

2 bananas (green or slightly yellow, not ripe)
1 tablespoon coconut oil (or olive oil)
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon


Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C)
Peel the bananas and cut them into 1/8-inch thick rounds
In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon
Dip each banana slice into the coconut oil, coating lightly, then toss with the cinnamon-sugar mixture
Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t overlap
Air fry for 12 minutes, then shake the basket gently and continue cooking for 8 to 12 additional minutes, until crisp and golden brown. Cooking time may vary slightly depending on your air fryer model
Allow the banana chips to cool completely before storing


Notes

For best results, use slightly underripe bananas for firm, crisp chips
You can store the cooled chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days
Adjust the sugar and cinnamon quantities to suit your taste
If using a convection oven or toaster oven with an air fryer setting, follow the same steps but adjust the time as needed
