Description

Crispy, handheld snacks filled with seasoned ground beef and melted cheddar cheese, encased in flaky biscuit dough. Perfectly balanced textures make these playful bites ideal for quick meals, gatherings, or on-the-go snacking.

Ingredients

Scale

1 can (12-16 count) refrigerated canned biscuits
1 pound ground beef (90% lean or higher recommended)
1 packet taco seasoning (salt-free option suggested)
24 small cubes of cheddar cheese

Instructions

Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef while breaking into crumbles with a spatula.
Drain excess fat from cooked beef; add taco seasoning as per packet instructions and stir for 1-2 minutes.
Let beef seasoning mixture cool, then roll 1 tablespoon into a ball around each cheese cube (24 total).
Expand each biscuit slightly to form a dough shell, place a beef-covered cheese ball inside, and seal the edges.
Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Air fry for 6-8 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.

Notes

Use canned biscuit dough without lard for halal compliance
Add optional toppings like lettuce, avocado, or hot sauce
For vegetarian version, replace beef with seasoned lentils or quinoa
Store uncooked bombs in freezer for up to 3 months
