Crispy, tender bite-sized steak cooked to perfection in the air fryer. This halal-friendly recipe uses sirloin or ribeye with a simple butter-based seasoning for a restaurant-quality snack or side in minutes.
Ingredients
1 lb (450g) steak (sirloin, New York strip, or ribeye), cut into 1-inch cubes
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp fresh thyme or ½ tsp dried thyme
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes
In a bowl, combine garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and thyme
Toss steak cubes with olive oil and seasoning mix
Arrange in a single layer in air fryer basket (work in batches if needed)
Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway for even browning
Drizzle melted butter over steak during last 2 minutes of cooking
Notes
Use a digital meat thermometer for perfect doneness (130°F/54°C for medium-rare)
Serve with lemon wedges or a simple grain like rice
