Ingredients
12 oz (340g) raw shrimp (peeled and deveined)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and optional spices.
Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket (avoid overcrowding).
Air fry for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and opaque.
Check for doneness with a skewer; serve immediately.
Notes
Flip shrimp halfway for even browning.
Use the “Basket Coating” trick: Brush oil inside the basket to prevent sticking.
Add a squeeze of lime or drizzle with hot sauce when serving.
Leftovers freeze well in airtight containers for up to 3 months.
