Description
Recreate carnival-style fried Oreos at home with an air fryer! These golden, gooey treats combine refrigerated crescent dough with soft Oreo cookies for a crispy yet tender bite. Quick, mess-free, and perfect for spice-ups.
Ingredients
1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
12 Oreo cookies (regular or reduced sugar)
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 12 triangular pieces
Place an Oreo cookie in the center of each dough triangle
Fold the dough directly over the cookie and press edges to seal completely
Sprinkle the sealed dough pieces with ground cinnamon and granulated sugar before air frying
Place in a single layer in the air fryer basket
Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 4-5 minutes until golden and crispy
Remove from air fryer and dust with powdered sugar immediately
Notes
Work quickly with refrigerated dough to prevent softening
No need to flip during cooking – the oil will bubble in the center and create a natural crunchy shell
Can use other fillings like dulce de leche or nutella for variation
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days
