Description

Golden, crispy mushrooms with a savory garlic-herb profile made effortlessly in the air fryer in just 15 minutes. A healthy, umami-packed snack or side dish that pairs beautifully with earthy spices and aromatic oils.

Ingredients

Scale

2 pounds button or cremini mushrooms
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C)
Wash and pat dry mushrooms to remove excess moisture
In a bowl, mix mushrooms with olive oil and seasonings until evenly coated
Arrange mushrooms in a single layer in air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through

Notes

Use paper towels to dry mushrooms thoroughly for crispier results
Cremini mushrooms are preferable due to their richer flavor, but shiitake or portobello work too
Store in airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days
For extra flavor, toss with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving
