Description

Quick and flavorful Mexican-style shrimp cooked in an air fryer for tender results with crispy edges. Infused with warm spices like cumin, chili, paprika, and oregano, and finished with fresh cilantro for a zesty finish.


Ingredients

1 lb raw shrimp (peeled and deveined)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp lime juice
3 tbsp freshly chopped cilantro
Salt to taste


Instructions

Preheat air fryer to 400°F
Pat shrimp dry with paper towels
Toss shrimp with olive oil in a bowl
In a separate bowl, mix cumin, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, oregano, and 2 tsp salt
Evenly coat shrimp with spice mixture
Place shrimp in air fryer basket in a single layer
Spritz with lime juice and cook for 8-10 minutes
Toss with cilantro before serving


Notes

For juicier shrimp, do not overcrowd the basket
Adjust cook time based on shrimp size
Serve warm with rice, avocado, or tortillas
