Description
Crispy, juicy air fryer chicken tenders marinated in a sweet-tangy honey-herb sauce. No breading needed for a lean, flavorful weeknight staple ready in 27 minutes.
Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken tenders
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon honey
½ tablespoon fresh lemon juice
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon sea salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Pat chicken dry and place in a bowl
Mix olive oil, honey, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl
Pour marinade over chicken and toss to coat evenly
Transfer to air fryer basket in a single layer (do not overcrowd)
Preheat air fryer to 400°F and cook for 15 minutes
Flip tenders and cook an additional 7-10 minutes until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F
Notes
For best results, marinate for at least 30 minutes before air frying
If using a larger batch, air fry in two batches to ensure even cooking
Serve immediately with lemon wedges or over a bed of greens
Leftovers can be refrigerated in an airtight container for 3-4 days
