Ingredients
2 lbs chicken wings (about 12 pieces)
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup cold butter, cubed
0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted (for the sauce)
2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
1 tsp dried parsley (optional)
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C)
In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
Dip each chicken wing into the seasoned flour, shaking off excess
In a separate bowl, combine Parmesan and cold butter; mix until crumbly
Toss floured wings in the Parmesan-butter mixture to coat
Air fry in two batches for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy
While wings cook, warm melted butter in a saucepan; add Parmesan, garlic, parsley, and 1/2 tsp salt. Cook until thickened
After cooking, toss wings in the warm sauce until evenly coated
Serve immediately
Notes
Use cold butter for breading to avoid premature melting
Cook in batches to maintain crispiness
Add extra Parmesan or garlic to sauce for stronger flavor
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days
