Description
Quick, fluffy donuts made from canned biscuit dough, air-fried and dusted with cinnamon-sugar for a warm, crowd-pleasing treat ready in 20 minutes. Perfect for busy breakfasts or impromptu desserts.
Ingredients
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (12 biscuits)
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons melted butter (for coating, if using)
Optional: 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
Optional: 1 tablespoon non-dairy milk (if using a glaze)
Instructions
Open biscuit dough can and let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.
Roll each biscuit into a circle using a rolling pin, then cut out the center with a small round cutter or 2-inch cup to form donut shapes.
Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture over each donut and the removed centers (donut holes).
Arrange uncooked donuts and donut holes in a single layer in the air fryer basket (may need to cook in batches if needed).
Preheat air fryer to 350°F (180°C). Cook donuts for 6-8 minutes and donut holes for 3-5 minutes until golden.
Brush with melted butter and coat in additional cinnamon-sugar while warm.
If using glaze, mix powdered sugar with non-dairy milk until smooth, then drizzle over cooled donuts.
Notes
Use biscuit dough with no pork-containing ingredients. For best results, keep air fryer basket uncluttered to ensure even cooking. Donut holes cook faster; adjust time accordingly. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Add sprinkles or chocolate drizzle for customization.
