Ingredients
1 lb (450g) boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil (optional for coating)
1 cup non-alcoholic BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade, no pork derivatives)
Instructions
1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
2. Toss chicken bites with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. For extra crispiness, coat in a thin layer of olive oil.
3. Arrange chicken evenly in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10 minutes until golden.
4. Spoon BBQ sauce over chicken bites. Return to air fryer for an additional 5 minutes until sauce is caramelized.
