Ingredients
2 acorn squash halves
2 tablespoons brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C)
Cut squash in half lengthwise and scoop out seeds

Brush the seasoning mixture evenly over the cut surfaces of the squash halves
Place squash cut side down in the air fryer basket
Air fry for 20 minutes or until tender and golden
Let cool slightly before serving
Notes
No oil is required, as the squash’s natural oils create a crispy exterior.
Check for doneness with a knife if needed.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
For a savory twist, omit sugar and spice, or swap with olive oil and garlic powder.
