Description

Quick, homemade air fryer bagels with a soft, chewy interior and golden crust. Made with Greek yogurt, baking powder, and a touch of sweetness—ready in just 20 minutes. No boiling or long rising needed!


Ingredients

Scale

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 egg, beaten


Instructions

Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a mixing bowl
In another bowl, whisk Greek yogurt, water, eggs, and melted butter
Gradually add wet ingredients to dry ingredients; mix until a dough forms
Knead dough gently on a floured surface for 1-2 minutes
Rest dough for 5 minutes
Divide into 6 equal pieces
Roll each into a ball, press a finger into center to form a hole
Brush tops with egg wash
Place in air fryer basket and cook at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes per side


Notes

Use a 3-inch biscuit cutter or knife to shape holes
Add cinnamon, sesame seeds, or poppy seeds to the dough or on top
Adjust cooking time based on air fryer wattage
Dough will be sticky but manageable
